Phase One will reportedly offer an all-suite hotel, atrium, British-themed dining options and interactive London-themed attractions. The Londoner Macao is the group’s third themed resort, following The Venetian Macao and The Parisian Macao. The venue is part of the group’s $2.2bn additional investment in the Macau market.

Rob Goldstein, president and COO of Las Vegas Sands said: “Our investment in The Londoner Macao is a clear signal that we believe Macau’s future as one of the world’s most important leisure and business destinations remains on course. The Londoner Macao will offer our guests another new and exciting experience while further illustrating our commitment to Macao and the expansion of its tourism offerings.”

The resort’s gaming space should have 450 tables and 2,000 slot machines. There will be hotels, retail and MICE space and a 6,000-seat arena, which will likely be opened during other phases.

Sands China President Wilfred Wong hoped the opening of The Londoner Macao will “raise the profile of Macau, while increasing the number of visitors as our other flagship properties have done.”
