According to the released statement, Oshidori and MGE aim to collaborate in developing a world-class integrated resort and create a dynamic community in Nagasaki, turning the city into “a premium travel destination and a premier residential choice.”

President and CEO of Oshidori Alejandro Yemenidjian said: "We are proud to partner with MGE on this landmark development opportunity.” He believes the partnership will have a positive impact not only on Nagasaki but the entire Kyushu region.

MGE operates ten properties worldwide and the company’s CEO Mario Kontomerkos stated Japan is one of the fastest-growing markets in the world and added, "Japan offers important development opportunities that will benefit the Kyushu economy. Our growth strategy took into consideration the significant cross marketing opportunity between Project Inspire in Korea and Kyushu, Japan.”

The location for the IR in the Nagasaki Prefecture is set to be the Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Sasebo city. The prefecture started the IR operator selection process on 7 January. The bid selection process is projected to take place throughout the summer and fall of 2021, after a primary and secondary screening and an integrity survey.
