By Iqbal Johal

The partnership, which was first signed in 2012 and renewed in 2018, will allow leading Belgium operator Napoleon Sports to utilise Kambi’s online and retail sportsbook and sports betting technology, across various channels.

The deal covers instant betting, bonus toolbox capability and player-facing elements such as front-end and odds, for Napoleon to offer to players in Belgium.

Kambi CEO and co-founder Kristian Nylén said: “Napoleon Sports & Casino has taken full advantage of the powerful sportsbook core and comprehensive differentiation capabilities Kambi offers to become a market leader in Belgium, and it is excellent to have secured this vote of confidence and continue this successful partnership for years to come.

Napoleon Sports & Casino CEO Tim De Borle, added: “Kambi's technological superiority, alongside a broad range of empowerment tools that enable us to set our sportsbook apart, have given us the edge to outperform our competitors in order to become a leader in the Belgian market. We are pleased to have committed to this partnership for the long-term."

The agreement follows recent global partnerships signed by sports betting supplier Kambi, including penning a long-term deal with Netherlands casino operator JVH gaming & entertainment, allowing it to enter the regulated Dutch market once it launches this summer.

While last month, Kambi became the sports betting partner of Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA), further expanding its worldwide offering.

Earlier this month, Kambi reported a 28% year-on-year revenue rise for full-year 2020, reaching €117.7m ($141.7m) for the period.
