By Peter Lynch

The group - which operates sites such as bonusboss.co.uk, cashmo.co.uk, casino.mfortune.co.uk, and casino2020.co.uk among many others - also received an official warning from the Commission.

In addition, Intouch Games is required to instruct a firm of independent auditors to carry out an audit that ensures full compliance with the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice.

The operator’s social responsibility failings included not using all relevant sources of information to ensure effective decision making, and stating in its responsible gambling team interaction guidance that a bonus may be offered if a customer provides identification.

Anti-money laundering issues included failing to critically review Source of Funds information when it was requested, and failing to conduct appropriate levels of Enhanced Customer Due Diligence.

Fair and transparent terms and practices failings meanwhile included Intouch Games failing to state in an SMS text the time limit for which the bonus offer could be claimed, or the minimum and maximum deposits in an offer’s significant terms.

“Through our challenging compliance and enforcement activity we will continue our work to raise standards in the industry and continue to hold failing operators to account,” said Commission executive director Richard Watson.
