no revenue in Pennsylvania is up 3.7% to $247.12m year-on-year for February, according to the latest figures released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Revenue from table games is up 11.84% to $63.92m, while slots revenue was also up for the month, climbing 1.1% to $183.2m.

Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem contributed the most table game revenue for the month with $15.27m from 207 tables, the most tables in the state, followed by Parx Casino with $11.7m from 154 tables and SugarHouse Casino with $7.47m from 84 tables.

Parx was top of the list for slot game revenue, posting $29.63m, while Rivers Casino came in second with $22.47m and Sands Bethlehem was third with $22.06m.

Annual casino win has declined in the state in the past two years, falling from $3.16bn in 2012, when it overtook Atlantic City to become the second biggest gambling hub in the US, to $2.32bn in 2014.

That followed six consecutive years of annual revenue increases, following the opening of its first casino, Mohegan Sun Pocono, in 2006.

Two bills have recently been filed to legalise online gambling in the state, with the first being submitted by Democratic Representative John Payne and the second being tabled by State Representative Nick Miccarelli, who only wishes to legalise online poker.
