Stakelogic completes acquisition of Hurricane Games
By Gambling Insider

The acquisition allows Stakelogic to improve its development capacity, with the two having already worked together through the Greenlogic development partner program.

The developer says the Hurricane Games team will be retained after the takeover, and will also be given “creative and technical freedom” to design and develop games.

Stephan van den Oetelaar, Stakelogic CEO, said: “The acquisition of Hurricane Games takes our in-house development capabilities to the next level, allowing us to grow at pace while also delivering new, exciting content to our operator partners on a regular basis.

“Hurricane Games was one of the first studios to join our Greenlogic Program, so we have plenty of experience working with its team of incredible talent to create games that stand out in operator lobbies, and deliver a superior player experience.”

Andrew Fraser, Hurricane Games Director, added: “Stakelogic has been instrumental in our rise to date and I am thrilled to further strengthen the relationship between both studios via this acquisition.

“We have some incredible concepts in the pipeline and now we are part of the Stakelogic family have the resources to bring them to life and deliver the best possible player experience across all of our titles.”

The Hurricane Games acquisition comes just days after Stakelogic acquired Smart&Applied, similarly, to reinforce its in-house game development capacity. The company has been rebranded Stakelogic Serbia.

Stakelogic’s games are now live across more than 500 operators globally; last year it released 48 classic slots.
