The company, an integrated resort in the Philippines, aims to complete the vaccination rollout by the fourth quarter of 2021. It is working in partnership with AC Health.

Okada Manila’s vaccination program aims to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the group’s more than 5,700 team members. The company has also implemented wellbeing programs such as webinars for mental health, skill enhancement e-sessions, counselling services, and the distribution of health kits.

Okada Manila has also provided grants to several different bodies in a bid to help fight against the pandemic, including the Philippine Red Cross, the Philippine Lung Center, and the Heart Center of the Philippines.

“Having our team members and their loved ones vaccinated won’t just keep them safer from the threat of Covid-19, this will also give them some peace of mind during this unprecedented and unpredictable time,” said Okada Manila President Byron Yip. “As frontliners of the hospitality and tourism industry, we want to give our team members the safest possible work environment.

“More vaccinated individuals mean we can contribute to managing the number of Covid-19 cases in the country while also helping with restarting the economy.”
