IGT agree Loto-Québec games deal

iders International Game Technology (IGT) are to supply online casino games to the gaming website of Canadian state operators Loto-Québec.

IGT will launch a selection of games on the Espace Jeux site later this year, with the first phase of the agreement seeing Cleopatra, Wheel of Fortune – Hollywood Edition, Monopoly and Clue made available to players in Quebec. The games are to be hosted on the Loto-Quebec servers in Montreal.

The second phase of the arrangement will integrate the IGT Casino remote game server (rgs) which will see another 16 IGT online games – developed in Canadian French – made available on the site, hosted from a new IGT data centre in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Further rgs releases will see over 30 casino-style games being made available by the end of 2012, including a number of IGT Video Poker titles, with all games supplied in both English and Canadian French.

IGT executive vice president of emerging businesses Robert Melendres said: “The addition of Loto-Quebec as an interactive business-to-business partner is further proof of our commitment to the North American online and mobile market.
