Safety first: G2E Las Vegas confirms vaccination requirement
By Tim Poole

The trade show – presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and organized by RX – returns to the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas 4-7 October, and is the largest gathering in the US gaming industry.

Proof of a vaccine will be required for all exhibitors, attendees, speakers, media, and AGA and RX staff, while G2E continues to monitor public health and government guidance.

In addition, there will be approved face coverings for all individuals, increased sanitisation standards, and an updated layout and exhibitor guidelines.

Meredith Pallante, VP, Global Events at the AGA, said:"Our highest priority for G2E 2021 is providing a safe and productive event for the global gaming industry.

"We know how important vaccines are to continuing gaming's strong recovery. Vaccinations are also one more tool to help us safely welcome the industry back to Las Vegas for another fantastic show."

Korbi Carrison, G2E Event Director, said: "We know how enthusiastic the gaming community is about G2E 2021 and we also understand the importance of hosting an event where everyone feels as safe as possible.

"We are continuously following government and public health guidance, and having data-driven conversations with health and safety experts to guide our decision making. We're thankful for exhibitors' and stakeholders' continued support throughout this process."
