By Gambling Insider

Former VP for PAGCOR’s Corporate Social Responsibility Group (CSR), Bondoc is to take his oath at the Malacanang Palace in the third week of September, and “will serve the unexpired term of office of the late Director Reynaldo Evangelista Concordia that began on 1 July 2021 and will end on 30 June 2022.”

However, he immediately assumed the duties left by Concordia, therefore he was sworn into office by an official in Barangay Pinagkaisahan in Quezon City on 15 September 2021.

The former VP argued that while his main functions will regard filling in the shoes of the late Director, his new position will aid his current programs and initiatives of the PAGCOR management. As CSR Chief, Bondoc initiated reforms within his group that aimed to hasten the service delivery to the beneficiary of the PAGCOR’s CSR programs which “have touched the lives of many marginalized Filipinos”.

Bondoc said: “Former Director Concordia used to actively take part in PAGCOR’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs. He would go even to remote places to ensure that PAGCOR’s socio-civic initiatives would reach those who need them most. I will offer my services in memory of him and serve our Chairman’s best intentions. Also, being in this new position will allow me to make policy adjustments that will further enhance PAGCOR’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs and hopefully, the agency’s revenue generation capacity amidst the ongoing pandemic.”
