MGM Resorts and BetMGM join AGA’s Have A Game Plan campaign
By Gambling Insider

This announcement comes during the AGA’s Responsible Gaming Education Week, during which both MGM Resorts and BetMGM, which is a joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain, will share safe gambling advice and information via their social media channels.

Garrett Farnes, Responsible Gaming Compliance Manager at MGM Resorts, commented: “This partnership complements our ongoing commitment to GameSense.

“GameSense has been an instrumental part of the MGM Resorts guest service model since 2017, helping customers understand the risks, where to get help and ultimately, how to keep gaming fun.”

GameSense is a responsible gambling program, developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), that seeks to bring together a number of resources and educational tools within one platform.

“We are proud to become a partner of such an important initiative for the industry,” remarked Richard Taylor, Responsible Gambling Program Manager at BetMGM.

“Through GameSense, we are committed to doing our part in creating a fun and safe experience for customers.”

With sports betting now legal in 32 states and the District of Columbia, more than 111 million American adults can now bet legally for the first time.

This initiative, which was launched in 2019, advocates responsible sports betting for both first-time bettors and seasoned veterans by promoting what it describes as the “four core principles” of responsible sports wagering.

These are setting a budget and sticking to it, keeping betting social, knowing the odds and only playing with trusted, regulated operators.

MGM Resorts and BetMGM will join partners such as DraftKings and FanDuel in supporting this campaign.
