Although Washington’s market opened up to sports betting in early September, the only mobile sports betting that is currently allowed under the state’s gaming law is geofenced to the individual property, meaning users can only use a certain mobile app in a facility with that certain retail sportsbook.

The state also failed to extend sports betting to commercial card rooms; the game offer is limited along with the maximum bet amount and the operating hours of the facilities. On top of having the tax rate increased from 5% to 20%, the state’s law also doesn’t allow slot machines, video poker and video lottery terminals.

Thanks to the new deal, FanDuel sportsbook will feature three live betting windows and 12 self-service terminal kiosks, as well as 17 screens showing live sports and seating areas. Also, three more self-service betting kiosks are set to open in the casino’s Beach Rock Music and Sports Longue.
