The systems technology contract, which was won from a global competitor, may be extended for up to ten additional years.

Scientific Game’s platforms, retail solutions productions and game services will modernise the Lottery, aiming to maximise revenue for the State of Vermont’s Education Fund.

The company was selected based on the highest overall score and its performance record of generating maximum profits for lottery beneficiary programs, according to Scientific Games. It will provide its AEGIS open architecture enterprise gaming system and a central communications network, along with WAVE retailer terminals and PlayCentral self-service machines across Lottery retailers in the state.

Scientific Games will also provide turnkey system operations and game services, with the Vermont Lottery to benefit from the company’s retailer services to develop new and existing channels, such as marketing and associated gaming products.
