Entain reports 23rd consecutive quarter of double-digit online growth

For the period from 1 July to 30 September 2021, group net gaming revenue (NGR) grew 4% year-on-year, with online NGR growing 10%. Excluding Germany, online NGR increased by 18%.

The group highlighted BetMGM’s strong growth, with a 23% market share across the US in sports betting and iGaming for the three months to August. It is now live in 16 jurisdictions, with recent launches in Arizona, Wyoming and South Dakota.

The company also noted that its Advanced Responsibility & Care (ARC) programme continues to make good progress, while the Entain Foundation US funded research with the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and launched a new app to support the American Gaming Association’s (“AGA”) Responsible Gaming Initiative.
