GAN Limited to power Nevada online sports betting for Red Rock Resorts
By Gambling Insider

The California-based gaming software provider will design Station’s ‘STN Sports’ digital platform, as well as mobile applications and retail over-the-counter and kiosk-based sports betting products to be deployed throughout the Silver State.

Thomas Mikulich, Senior VP of Innovation and Slots at Station Casinos, commented: “The choice of GAN reflects their proven technology platform, specialist experience with integrating reward programs, reputation for integrity and their exciting sports betting user experience across online and retail devices, and their overall commitment.

“We look forward to collaborating closely with GAN to roll out their innovative sports experience here in Nevada.”

While a commercial launch is subject to regulatory technical certification and related licencing, if successful, this agreement would be a major expansion of GAN and Red Rock’s relationship, having previously partnered with Station for Simulated Gaming, which was released online in 2017.

In GAN’s eyes, this deal has validated the operator’s trust in its technological capabilities, much of which was showcased at G2E in October.

“After a comprehensive and competitive process, we are greatly pleased to secure our first major US retail casino operator client of our omnichannel sports betting technology and managed trading services solution acquired at the outset of the year and demonstrated at G2E earlier this month,” said Dermot Smurfit, GAN’s CEO.

“The GAN team worldwide is excited to enter the U.S. sports’ market next year with a market leader in Nevada.”

With the closing of this deal, GAN has further cemented an already solid year, following the acquisition of Coolbet in May which fuelled a 263% boost in Q1 revenue for the company.
