This go-ahead will allow Nuvei to support sports betting and iGaming operators within the state, providing expertise and technology to Connecticut’s online gaming operators. 

Alongside this, the agreement will offer payment processing technology, including a revenue optimisation suite, net deposits, real-time fraud detection, risk management and instant payouts. In addition, it will also include streamlined pay-ins through a variety of payment methods including cards, ACH and alternative payments.

This acts as a seal of approval for processing sports betting and iGaming payments in the state. 

Nuvei’s platform continues to expand its footprint with partnerships including 888 Holdings, SI Sportsbook, Carousel Group, Triplebet/Matchbet, PrizePicks and BetMGM. 

Connecticut has been expanding its reach in all avenues, launching sportsbooks statewide. Recently, operator Rush Street Interactive (RSI) announced the launch of the PlaySugarHouse online sportsbook in Connecticut.

This will allow Connecticut players to place bets in-person at one of the 15 accessible PlaySugarHouse retail sportsbooks across the state, including 10 Sportech locations.
