Inspired Entertainment inks iLottery deal with Loto-Québec
By Dominic Marius-Markham

Lottery fans in Canada’s French-speaking Quebec province will get a chance to try out Inspired’s new iLottery games via ‘lotoquebec.com’ and the Loto-Québec app.

The Canadian lottery operator currently plays host to Inspired’s interactive casino content, with this latest addition representing an expansion of their partnership.

“Inspired’s online casino content has proven popular with our customers, and we are glad to be their first customer in the iLottery market,” said Anne-Marie Voyer, Director of Lottery Products & Development at Loto-Québec.

“We are looking forward to collaborating with Inspired to feature some of our successful retail brands in their digital lottery games.”

With this deal, Loto-Québec will see its roster of games augmented for another time this year after it signed an agreement with Greentube in July.

Moreover, this marks Inspired’s first foray into the world of iLottery, with the company expected to launch its new games — Scarab Treasures, branded Pharaon reaction, and Fruit Drop Scatterdrops, branded Explosion de fruits reaction — in 2022.

Brooks Pierce, President and COO at Inspired, was optimistic about this new venture, commenting: “We see our entry into the iLottery market, with Loto-Québec as our first customer, as an important strategic step for our company, which we are very excited about.

“Our management team has extensive experience in the global lottery market, which is estimated to be over $300bn, and we view iLottery as a significant potential growth opportunity, poised to see higher adoption by lotteries worldwide.”

Inspired Entertainment currently operates in approximately 32 jurisdictions around the world, supplying terminals and content for game systems across roughly 50,000 gaming machines located in betting shops, pubs, gaming halls and elsewhere.
