Betradar unveil retail version of Virtual Football League
By Gambling Insider
ts data suppliers Betradar have launched a Virtual Football League (VFL) retail solution in Russia.

Russian-based bookmakers Liga Stavok have begun to offer the VFL service, which provides 24/7 real money betting on virtual football matches, in selected flagship stores in Moscow and will soon extend the product to its retail outlets across the country.

The VFL boasts 3D match simulation and unique content for every fixture, meaning there are not a set number of predefined scenes. The product also features extensive pre- and post-match data including line-ups and players’ skills.

The launch of the retail solution comes off the back of a successful VFL online offering on the Ligastavok, Tempobet, Bet1128 and Digibet websites.

Erik Lorenz, group managing director sales for Sportradar, the parent company of Betradar, said: “The unique league concept and video animation differentiate the game clearly from other virtual offers in the market. The new retail solution is another important development step.”

Liga Stavok founder and owner Oleg Zhuravsky added: “Thanks to VFL, punters no longer need to wait for weekends or certain game days; punters now have the opportunity to enjoy a football game and make bets around the clock.”
