The London edition of the Global Gaming Awards recognises success achieved in the past 12 months outside of the Americas region, and rewards both operators and suppliers.

The 2022 event will have 15 categories, with Casino of the Year returning after a 12-month pause due to the forced closure of many casino venues. 

“2021 was certainly eventful for the gaming industry,” said Gambling Insider Editor-in-Chief Julian Perry. “We’ve seen lots of M&A activity, lots of new and innovative product launches, and most importantly we saw the land-based sector recover from the pandemic slowdown, so we are certainly excited to celebrate all this at our Awards.”

All Shortlisted companies are currently being contacted – so keep an eye on your inbox. Companies are nominated on merit and the reason for their nomination is made public in the official Shortlist magazine. It is also seen by the Judging Panel during the voting process, with every company category having a consistent number of nominees across the Shortlist.

The full Shortlist magazine will be available in early January but, in the meantime, those who wish to can celebrate their nominations on social channels – using the hashtag #GGA2022 – and we’ll reshare your posts.

The Global Gaming Awards London are powered by Gambling Insider and independently adjudicated by KPMG in the Crown Dependencies. BetConstruct is the Lead Partner of the Awards and category sponsors include Digitain, Altenar, BGaming, SOFTSWISS, Bragg Gaming and Stakelogic.

A panel of 50 C-level executives from the industry will decide the winners, with KPMG monitoring the entire voting process to ensure full transparency and fairness. Winners will be announced at a fabulous invite-only ceremony at London’s Hippodrome Casino on the Monday of ICE week, 31 January 2022.
