BetMGM and Arizona Cardinals offer first look at stadium sportsbook
By Gambling Insider

In partnership with the Cardinals, the MGM Resorts-Entain joint venture will bring a nearly 17,000-square-foot sportsbook to the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, scheduled to open in time for the start of the 2022 season.

Construction is underway on the two-storey venue that will be the first sportsbook at an NFL stadium. It will be located on the north side of the Great Lawn, an eight-acre landscaped tailgating area in the shadow of the stadium itself.

BetMGM says its new sportsbook will be able to safely accommodate up to 500 people and will feature a 265-square-foot video wall, as well as 38 TVs.

Bettors will be able to place wagers at trading windows or use the more than 25 betting kiosks located throughout the space.

“The Arizona Cardinals and BetMGM are both committed to enhancing the game day experience for fans in new and creative ways,” said BetMGM Chief Exec Adam Greenblatt.

“The BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium will be one of the most unique and innovative additions to a venue that the sports and entertainment industry has ever seen.”

BetMGM partnered with the Cardinals in August 2021. This latest venture represents the next stage of their partnership.

Cardinals Owner Michael Bidwill commented: “Since the launch of our partnership with BetMGM last August, the response has been incredible.

“When this sportsbook opens next season, it will provide an opportunity to engage and entertain our fans in a way that is unprecedented.”
