Bland has 18 years’ experience in the sports data and technology industry, having gained a wealth of knowledge from his career in the commercial and partnerships sector.

Epic, an independent consultancy aiming to minimise gambling harm, has hired Bland to work closely with the company’s existing clients. His role will challenge him to build close relationships and proactively develop its client base as part of the firm’s growth strategy. 

Commenting on his new role, Bland said: “I’m thrilled to be joining such a progressive company, which is trying to pioneer this space of gambling harm minimisation. What’s been clear to me throughout the recruitment process and my short time here, is that Epic is hugely passionate about its purpose.

“My role here is about growth. Yes, organically the business will commercially grow but, ultimately, the more companies we work with, the more people we interact with; the more people we help. So, that’s a massive goal of mine here at Epic and I’m excited to get started.” 

As part of his experience, Bland has acquired sales expertise and an international business network, with the company feeling he is well positioned to help achieve its ambitions.
