NetEnt’s New Jersey offering now includes BwinParty
By David Cook
Party’s online casino in New Jersey is now using a selection of NetEnt’s games.

NetEnt launched in New Jersey in September when Borgata’s online casino began using NetEnt games after the provider was granted a transactional waiver to operate in the state by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).

The licence agreements with BwinParty and Borgata were signed in June, after NetEnt applied to the DGE for a casino service industry enterprise licence.

NetEnt has been allowed to launch its games with Borgata and BwinParty while its licence application is under review as a result of receiving the transactional waiver.

BwinParty uses Borgata’s online licence to operate in New Jersey.

Meanwhile, three BwinParty brands have been added to Romania’s blacklist of operators.

Bwin.com, PartyCasino.com and PartyPoker.com have all been added to the Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc’s list, which also contains Paddy Power, Betfred and William Hill’s online brands.

BwinParty said in August it had made a provision of €7.9m representing the board’s estimate of retroactive taxes that may be due in Romania, as all operators that accepted online bets from players in Romania before being licensed are required to pay retroactive taxes.
