Penn National Gaming hits 100,000-member milestone for ‘myheroes’ rewards programme
By Gambling Insider

Penn National’s ‘myheroes’ programme is an extension of the company’s mychoice rewards scheme, providing discounts and offers to current and former American military members, as well as emergency services personnel.

In celebration of the programme passing the 100,000-member mark, Penn National has dedicated $100,000 to support local veterans organisations and first responder groups in the communities in which it operates.

Myheroes was launched last year and is intended to recognise and reward those who have “sacrificed so much for our safety” by giving them access to unique content across the company’s 44 properties in 20 states.

“The myheroes programme is our way of honouring and giving back to all those heroes who have sacrificed so much for our safety,” said Jay Snowden, Penn National President and CEO.

“I’m proud of how our properties have embraced this programme and made it such a success. As we reach this milestone, we’re pleased to contribute $100,000 to local veterans and first responder organisations across the country that are helping to make a difference in our communities.

“We look forward to further developing this unique programme and supporting our nation’s heroes as part of Penn National’s ongoing charitable and community outreach.”

This announcement comes after Penn National published its fourth quarter 2021 earnings report, outlining a $545.1m revenue increase. The operator is currently attempting to bolster its status as an “omni-channel provider of retail and online gaming, live racing and sports betting entertainment.”
