Entain Foundation US launches updated Gamble Responsibly America app
By Gambling Insider

The Foundation, which operates around the world as well as in the US, has committed more than $100m to responsible gambling programmes over the next five years.

The second edition of the US app provides practical tools, advice and assistance to individuals who feel they are suffering from problem gambling, and is available in a number of languages.

It also features new additions, such as greater educational information about gambling harm, and more tools for individuals to access support. The app provides a gambling diary and includes a live chat feature for immediate assistance.

Martin Lycka, Trustee, Entain Foundation, commented: “The first version of Gamble Responsibly America was well received and widely welcomed. We’ve since been working hard on enhancements to provide an even more comprehensive tool for maintaining responsible gambling, as well as for preventing and mitigating problems, should they occur.

“This second edition of Gamble Responsibly America underscores the helpful resources of the first edition, with more tools, more educational information, additional languages and more resources that are available anytime and anywhere.”

Through the app, individuals can access the Kindbridge organisation; one which is dedicated to improving the mental health of those affected by problem gambling.

The launch of the updated app coincides with Problem Gambling Awareness Month, held annually in March in the US.

To capitalise on increased awareness this month, MGM Resorts International and BetMGM, an operator owned by the former and Entain, have also reiterated their commitment to promoting responsible gambling.

The operators have increased educational material available at MGM Resorts casinos, as well as raising the amount of help and information available on the BetMGM platform.
