Delaware North joins AGA’s Have a Game Plan responsible betting campaign
By Gambling Insider

The hospitality and entertainment company, which owns and operates several casinos across the US, has joined more than 20 organisations in committing to promoting responsible gambling principles across all areas of its business.

Delaware North will add the AGA’s campaign branding to its website, as well as its social media channels, to help raise awareness of responsible gambling and the impact problem gambling can have.

Casey Clark, SVP, AGA, commented: “Delaware North’s reach across gaming, entertainment and sports adds an important voice to Have a Game Plan. We’re grateful for its partnership and leadership in advancing responsible gaming and ensuring bettors have the tools to wager responsibly.”

The AGA launched the campaign in 2019, with the aim of informing and advising customers about responsible sports betting.

The campaign and its supporters have expanded, with sports betting is now legal in 33 US states, encompassing 130 million citizens.

Jack McNeill, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Delaware North, said: “Responsibility is not only core to Delaware North’s commitment to our customers, but essential to the sustainable growth of legal sports betting.

“We’re proud to work with the AGA on this important initiative to educate fans on responsible gaming.”

In addition to its casino operations, Delaware North also manages a range of retail, food and beverage, hotels and special events venues across North America.

It offers sports wagering in Arkansas and West Virginia through its Betly subsidiary, while the company recently announced a partnership with Gaming1 to launch Gamewise, a new sports betting and iGaming brand.

Its gambling division is live in eight states, with others planned for later in 2022.
