Peter Isola steps down as Entain Non-Executive Director
By Gambling Insider

According to the company, he decided to step down “to focus on other opportunities,” taking the business from 11 to 10 board members.

Isola joined the governing body in February 2016, and during his six-year tenure as a Non-Executive Director, helped guide Entain through various business developments, serving on the company’s Audit, Remuneration and ESG Committees

The Gibraltar-based lawyer is a Senior Partner at Isolas LLP, and over his career, has cultivated a reputation as a leading figure in the worlds of financial and online gambling law.

During his time as a Non-Executive Director at Entain, Isola drew on this legal experience to facilitate the company’s various mergers and takeovers.

Barry Gibson, Chairman of Entain, said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Peter for his significant contribution and commitment to Entain over the last six years. We wish him well for the future.”

Alongside Gibson, Entain’s 10 remaining board members include CEO Jette Nygaard-Andersen, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Deputy CEO Rob Wood, Chief Governance Officer Robert Hoskin, Stella David, Pierre Bouchut, Mark Gregory, Vicky Jarman, Virginia McDowell and David Satz.

This comes after Entain redoubled its responsible gambling efforts in North America earlier this month via the Entain Foundation US, which launched the second edition of its Gamble Responsibly America app.

The company also reported its full year 2021 financial results on 3 March, highlighting an 8% increase in revenue from 2020.
