By Gambling Insider

The technology company, which specialises in acquiring, developing and commercialising innovative gaming systems, now holds 67 fully approved patents internationally, in addition to 22 patents pending.

While the full list of patent numbers and intended uses can be found online, two newly granted patents pertaining to the Philippines are most relevant to the iGaming industry, with a combined 438 claims, or intended uses, relating to land-based and mobile operated gambling systems.

Specifically, the claims include head-to-head play, either on local machines found in casinos, or online. Other intended uses of the patents include scope for esports, pinball, sports betting and virtual reality.

Jordan Simons, Founder and CEO, Arrow Gaming, commented: “Expanding Arrow Gaming's Asia-Pacific footprint is a significant achievement, as we commercialise our patents within the world's fastest-growing regulated gaming markets.

“Leveraging technology previously patented in the US and creating new intellectual property rights, including cashing out of skill-based games like pachinko, will empower gaming technology providers and operators to deliver new opportunities that meet the demand of Asia's expanding markets.”

Other aspects of the patents relate to payment solutions, loyalty schemes and mobile wallets. Arrow Gaming is also able to develop gambling products using a customer's geolocation, offering them content only available within their region.

Integrity and anti-corruption are also part of the patent applications, with software that has the ability to detect fraud, player collusion and gambling rule violations, depending on the territory.
