EveryMatrix rebuilding "from scratch"
By Gareth Bracken
yMatrix is completely rebuilding core elements of its offering in an attempt to push the business forward.

The provider's CEO, Ebbe Groes, told Gambling Insider that the firm is "wiping the slate clean" and building new sportsbook and payments products "completely from scratch", while its new casino offer will be "almost from scratch".

The new products are being rebuilt outside of the EveryMatrix platform and can therefore be independently plugged into clients' existing platforms.

"We have had very strong growth over the last two to three years, and while that's very enjoyable it also means that you start to hit the walls of what your software can deliver," said Groes.

"Because of that growth we start to speak to even larger companies and larger opportunities, so you can see the need to invest in our platform."

"So rather than saying 'yes we can improve here and there – tweak and twist', at some point you have to say 'let's wipe the slate clean'.

"It's new developers, new code from scratch – the largest development project I've ever been involved with."

Groes also reflected on a busy regulatory period for the firm, with EveryMatrix securing licences in the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Denmark in recent months.

"I've been surprised about how much time and money it has taken, but we are now there," he said.

"Some of our existing clients who would have stayed away from these countries can now enter them with us, utilising either our software provider licence or operator licence."
