Caesars Slots launches collaboration project with The Wildlife Conservation Society
By Gambling Insider

The free-to-play social casino game, operated by Playtika and licensed by Caesars Entertainment, has committed at least $17,000 to the WCS, with donations potentially rising to $35,000 depending on player involvement.

As part of the collaboration, Playtika will add a new character to the game, known as the Caesars Slots Panda.

Players can name their panda, with new rewards available as they move through the campaign. With every reward a player unlocks, Playtika will increase its donation, up to the maximum of $35,000.

John Calvelli, EVP for Public Affairs, WCS, commented: “The WCS is grateful for Playtika's support, which helps WCS in its mission to save wildlife and wild places around the globe. Today, an unprecedented one million animal species around the world are at risk of vanishing forever.

“WCS' ambitious goal is to not only prevent the extinction of our planet's most iconic and biologically important species, but also to lay the groundwork for their recovery. We are thankful for Playtika's donation in support of our work.”

According to market research company, Data.ai, Caesars Slots has over 100,000 daily users, while the Playtika brand attracts 35 million players per month.

Liran Paz, General Manager, Caesars Slots, said: “Caesars Slots is proud to support the WCS with the help of its player community. We believe entertainment and gaming companies can play an important role in raising awareness around environmental issues by combining play with purpose.

“We hope our players will be excited to unlock the new features and thus contribute to the cause. Enjoying the new features of the game and unlocking the presents will impact our donations to the WCS, and support its efforts to reach the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.”
