DraftKings debuts new podcasts with baseball personality Jared Carrabis
By Gambling Insider

A writer, blogger, radio host and die-hard Boston Red Sox fan, DraftKings is looking to leverage Carrabis’ baseball knowledge in a series of content collaborations.

Starting today on the company’s YouTube channel, DraftKings will debut two new podcasts, entitled “Baseball is Dead” and “Jared Carrabis,” where he will deliver “hot takes on all things baseball,” including the latest news from his hometown team.

The former podcast will focus on Major League Baseball (MLB) and, in DraftKings’ own words, is “designed to grow the game and laugh in the face of those who have prematurely called the sport of baseball ‘dead’.”

Carrabis will host this podcast, with appearances from former MLB pitcher and Oakland Athletics analyst Dallas Braden.

Meanwhile, his namesake podcast, the “Jared Carrabis Podcast,” will shine a spotlight on the pundit’s passion for baseball, and in particular his love for the Red Sox.

“I am thrilled to bring my deep passion for baseball and sports betting to DraftKings,” said Carrabis.

“Not only do we share roots in Boston, but we also share the same vision to deliver exciting content to sports fans everywhere. I can’t wait for fans to see what we have planned for this year’s MLB season.”

Carrabis’ addition will grow DraftKings’ existing content line-up, which includes collaborations like “Mystery Crate” with Mike Ryan, Bill Gil, Roy Bellamy and Chris Cote, as well as “Montgomery and Co.” featuring Renee Montgomery and new show “Basketball Illuminati” with Amin Elhassan and Tom Haberstroh.

Stacie McCollum, DraftKings Vice President of Programming, said: “We’re thrilled to add Jared Carrabis to our growing portfolio of content creators. He brings credibility as a subject matter expert while striking an authentic tone that resonates with sports fans.

“We continue to expand the DraftKings content experience by building a platform for independent voices and emerging talent such as Carrabis.”
