New Jersey online operators record strongest ever month

Jersey has published its online gambling revenue statistics for November, revealing its highest ever monthly revenue at $13.22m.

This tops the previous record, with online gambling revenue of $13.16m posted in March 2015, and represents year-on-year growth of 51%.

The statistics, released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE), show that an amount of $11.27m was contributed to this total by New Jersey’s online casinos, driving the record-setting month.

Online poker rooms in the Garden State recorded revenue of $1.96m.

Borgata’s online casino revenue was the largest of New Jersey’s online operators, taking $3m and returning to the head of the pack for the first time since July.

The casino remained the strongest overall performer in the online sector, with total gaming win of $4.1m.

Total gaming win of $2.97m saw Tropicana post the month’s second highest results.

Golden Nugget suffered the largest loss, with overall revenue of $2.2m down over half a million from their results for October.

Online gambling in New Jersey was legalised in February 2013, with overall gaming win of $266,081,469 reported by the NJDGE since the launch of the state’s first legal online casinos in November 2013.
