Circa Resort & Casino reveals Vegas Vickie-inspired NFT collections
By Gambling Insider

Artist Jason Borbet, who goes by the pseudonym Borbay, has designed the artwork for the collections, showcasing Vegas Vickie in various styles.

This includes the sole digital copy of Borbay’s original painting, plus a glass print of the work, and 54 iterations of Vickie that resemble a deck of cards. Borbay has also helped design 250 versions inspired by slot machine icons and a further 2,500 works intended to emulate a poker chip.

The minting of Circa’s Vegas Vickie NFT will “take place soon,” though no specific date was given.

“The Circa team has been incredibly supportive every step of the way, and to provide this level of utility in the NFT space is unparalleled,” said Borbay.

“As a lifelong fan of downtown Las Vegas, I’m thrilled to be a part of this historic moment for both the NFT space and the city.”

The collection’s debut will also make Circa the first Las Vegas resort to launch an NFT, with holders gaining access to certain rewards and experiences.

This includes an invitation to Circa’s “Vegas Vickie NFT Summer Bash celebration” for every level of NFT holder.

“When Borbay approached us about turning Vegas Vickie into an NFT, we knew we wanted it to go beyond the digital space and have real-world benefits,” said Jeff Victor, Vice President of Operations at Circa Resort & Casino. ‘

He continued: “We're excited to host the first major Vegas event exclusively for the NFT community.

“Our first Summer Bash is an opportunity for us to bring Vegas Vickie NFT owners together for the time of their lives and create a space where they can network and learn more about downtown Las Vegas.”

The neon cowgirl has been a Las Vegas mainstay since her installation over Bob Stupak’s Glitter Gulch Casino in 1980. Vegas Vickie now resides in Circa’s lobby as an art piece.
