ComeOn Group partners with Signaturgruppen to integrate Denmark’s new digital ID
By Gambling Insider

This comes after the Danish Gambling Authority (DGA) announced new rules regarding MitID, the Nordic country’s updated digital identification platform, last month.

The old system, NemID, is currently being phased out, with operators required to transition to MitID.

Consequently, ComeOn Group has partnered with Signaturgruppen to integrate the new system in compliance with Danish regulations.

However, the company will continue to offer NemID alongside the updated system until 31 October.

“We are happy to assist ComeOn Group on their journey and migration from NemID to MitID,” said Susan Kit Hansen, Key Account Manager at Signaturgruppen.

“There has been a great interaction with the team at ComeOn Group from early in the sales process all the way to the expertise and technical assistance that have been provided for the technical team.

“Signaturgruppen has been of assistance to many operators within the iGaming market and thus have an extensive understanding of advising foreign operators on the Danish MitID infrastructure.”

Hansen further remarked that she looked forward to ComeOn Group going live with the full MitID implementation soon.

Its predecessor, NemID, has been in place for over a decade, but the updated system has been designed to satisfy new security requirements and incorporate more advanced technology.

Silvana Zammit, Chief Legal Officer at ComeOn Group, said: “ComeOn’s main focus is to offer our Danish customers a safe and exciting entertainment experience, and Signaturgruppen will enable and lift the experience when our players interact with our platform for a secure and seamless access.

“Signaturgruppen’s accessibility, great customer service and their expertise in the Nordics made it a natural choice for ComeOn's compliance with the latest Danish regulations in the area of secure access to players.”
