Global Gaming Awards Asia 2022: Shortlist decided
By Gambling Insider

As revealed back in April, this will be our inaugural Global Gaming Awards Asia event. Following the success of the Global Gaming Awards events in Las Vegas and London, and given that Asia-Pacific is already one of the largest gaming markets in the world, it made sense to launch a dedicated Global Gaming Awards event for that region.

For the past nine years the Global Gaming Awards have been the most trusted and prestigious Awards in the gaming industry. Companies and individuals are always shortlisted based on merit, and winners are chosen by C-level industry executives. KPMG in the Crown Dependencies independently adjudicates the voting process to ensure full transparency and fairness.

The Asia edition of the Global Gaming Awards will be no different. We received self-nominations from companies telling us what they have achieved in the past 12 months. Additionally, we asked independent consultants and industry experts for recommendations before finalising the Shortlist.

“We have been very pleasantly surprised by the interest the Global Gaming Awards Asia have generated already,” said Julian Perry, Editor-in-Chief of Gambling Insider.

“We can’t wait to share the full Shortlist with everyone soon, and of course find out who the winners are in just over a month,” he added.

This year’s Global Gaming Awards Asia will have nine categories. The full Shortlist will be revealed to the public in the coming weeks and the winners will be announced at a virtual event on 22 August. Our team hopes to stage Asia’s second Global Gaming Awards in person in 2023.

BetConstruct is the lead partner of this year’s Global Gaming Awards Asia. Other event sponsors include Digitain, SA Gaming and SimplePlay.
