Phil Ivey to launch white-label DFS site on iTEAM network
By Edward Obeng
week turnkey fantasy daily sports technology provider iTEAM network announced that poker pro Phil Ivey will launch his Daily Fantasy Sport (DFS) site PhilIveyDFS on the company’s platform.

Ivey, perhaps poker’s most recognisable face in addition to being one of the game’s all-time most successful pros, will harness his marketing power and personal draw within sections of the gambling community to drive the PhilIveyDFS white-label brand forward.

The platform is set to launch next month, offering players the chance “to participate immediately for more than $20,000 in weekly pro basketball contests and interact directly with Phil".

"Over the past few years I've been looking for more ways to share with fans my perspective on Daily Fantasy Sports," Ivey said when the partnership was announced.

"I was honoured to have multiple options but iTEAM Network's focus on compliance and the core technology, along with the leadership of Gabe Hunterton, ultimately made it a pretty easy decision."

Gabe Hunterton, CEO of iTEAM, was equally happy to have the 10 time WSOP bracelet winner on-board, saying: "We are always looking for quality brands and partners in the world of fantasy sports.

“There is no elite-level individual that fans want to follow and learn from more than Phil Ivey.”

Ivey is ranked third in all-time high stakes online-poker with over $10.4 million in winnings, and is ranked fifth in all-time live poker tournaments with over $23.8 million in earnings.

"Adding the Phil Ivey brand will substantially increase network-wide player liquidity and prize pools,” Hunterton added.

The venture won’t be Ivey’s first away from the poker table. He previously launched Ivey Poker, a free to play Facebook app and community, which closed down in 2014.

iTEAM Network has headquarters in Las Vegas and additional offices in Florida.
