WMS and ACEP granted Nevada licences

iders WMS Industries and operators American Casino & Entertainment Properties (ACEP) are the latest firms to be awarded Nevada online gaming licences.

The companies had earlier been recommended by the state’s Gaming Control Board, with their applications now approved by the Nevada Gaming Commission.

WMS have received an interactive gaming system manufacturer licence, as well as a service provider licence, while American Casino & Entertainment have been handed an interactive gaming operator licence.

Of the 30 plus firms to have applied for licences, suppliers Shuffle Master, IGT and Bally Technologies have all had theirs granted, as have South Point Poker and Monarch Interactive, online arms of Nevada land-based casinos, and bookmakers William Hill.

Bookmakers Paddy Power and Caesars Interactive Entertainment, a subsidiary of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, have both reached the Nevada Gaming Commission approval stage.
