Watford FC and Stake set to continue sponsorship deal
By Gambling Insider

Originally agreed at the start of the 2021/22 season, the deal saw Stake become Watford’s main partner, in what was a club record deal. Both organisations are now “looking forward to the relationship going from strength to strength.”

As per the terms of the agreement, Stake will be offered a range of marketing and brand exposure opportunities. The Stake logo will be emblazoned on the front of the Watford shirts and training kit, with additional brand displays on LED perimeter boards and big screens at Watford’s home ground, Vicarage Road.

Watford Chairman and CEO Scott Duxbury said: “We are delighted to continue working with Stake as our principal shirt sponsor for the 2022/23 season.

“It is great to have their continued support, they have become a valued partner and we look forward to the next chapter together.”

Stake and Watford collaborated on a number of initiatives in the previous season. Notably, the two worked to support Rainbow Laces, a campaign designed to spread awareness and promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity.

Stake was the only principal club partner in the Premier League to use rainbow colours in their matchday branding.

Stake Sponsorships Manager Dominic Rae said: “We thoroughly enjoyed the first year of our partnership with Watford and it has provided our brand with massive global exposure.

“We have built a fantastic relationship with the club and are backing The Hornets to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, in what promises to be a thrilling season.”

Even though Watford was last season relegated to the Championship, Stake will remain in the Premier League after also signing with Everton.
