By Matthew Nicholson

First, BtoBet has signed a deal with UtopBet in Ethiopia, which will see the sportsbook supplier provide UtopBet with its betting portfolio in the country, including local and international sporting events; while also providing sports betting services relating to risk management.

NeoGames CEO Moti Malul said: "We are pleased to further strengthen our presence in Africa, by going live in the highly competitive Ethiopian market."

Furthermore, in a busy day for NeoGames, it also agreed a multi-year partnership with Sojogo and Santa Casa Global.

The new deal will see BtoBet provide lottery operator Sojogo with its sportsbook for the online and retail network, which the General Director of Sojogo, Alcinda Santiago, said was: “a sportsbook platform partner that matches our own ambitions and focus on gaining a leadership role in its market.”

Francisco Pessoa e Costa, Executive Director of Santa Casa Global, added: “Our high demands on technology, robust performance and flexibility, coupled with the need to offer our players a superior betting and gambling experience, have led us to seek a data-driven, high-quality, turnkey sportsbook solution.”

The agreements see BtoBet extend its operations in Africa and Dima Reiderman, Managing Director of BtoBet, said: "The agreement is yet another significant validation of the strengths of BtoBet’s competitive sportsbook solutions.

"Sojogo has ambitious plans to grow its footprint in the local market, and we look forward to helping to unlock those ambitions with the power and flexibility of our premium betting product.”
