Greentube launches in Michigan with BetMGM
By Peter Lynch

The Novomatic Digital Gaming and Entertainment division has further extended its footprint in the region via Entain Gaming Group’s platform.

The partnership marks the second time the pair have worked together to launch in a regulated US state, with Greentube rolling out its games via the sports betting and iGaming operator in New Jersey earlier this year.

Customers at BetMGM in Michigan can now play Greentube titles such as Mighty Emperor, Mighty Elephant, and Mighty Sevens, from its Diamond Cash series.

Greentube noted that the expansion represents a “major milestone” for the group, as it aims to expand its portfolio in all key regulated markets across the US following its New Jersey debut in 2021. The company was granted its Michigan licence earlier this year, with online gambling operational in the state since January 2021.

Greentube Commercial Director David Bolas commented: “The team is thrilled to be launching with BetMGM in Michigan and we really appreciate the importance of this continuing partnership. The US and Michigan in particular are key territories for Greentube.

“It’s another very important step for us in the context of the wider US market and preparations for launching in Pennsylvania are already underway.”

Earlier this month, Greentube announced a new senior leadership appointment as Felipe Ludeña was elevated to Chief Sportsbook Officer, a first for the company. In addition to his new C-level role, Ludeña has also taken up a seat on Greentube’s Board.
