By Matthew Nicholson

The machines will include Zitro’s Glare Cabinet systems, which Zitro claims features ‘state-of-the-art graphics.’

Johnny Ortiz, Founder of Zitro, said after announcing the delivery of the machines: “Installing more than 6,000 machines with Codere in Latin America, represents an achievement, but also reaffirms our commitment to continue bringing the greatest entertainment and the best gaming experience not only to Latin America, but around the world.”

Meanwhile, Juan Jose Rivas, Codere Product Manager of LatAm, commented further: “This growth of its gaming halls in Latin America represents for Codere one of our largest commercial agreements, with which we are very pleased, but also with the great responsibility to continue bringing people the best gaming experiences through Zitro."

Zitro was also keen to highlight its Megashare prize, which sees all active Megashare players win prizes if a 'Mega' is won by a single player, as a part of the new betting machines.

The news marks a busy summer for Zitro, which also introduced its new line of Altius Glare cabinets at Spain’s Gran Casino de Extremadura.

Elsewhere, Codere Online recently released its Q2 results for 2022, showing it had made $27.36m in revenue, a 36% annual increase.

After releasing the results, Codere Online CEO Moshe Edree said: “We are very pleased with our results in the first half of the year, particularly with the acceleration in net gaming revenue growth to 41% in the second quarter."
