The Global Gaming Awards return to Las Vegas for the ninth year
By Gambling Insider

The Global Gaming Awards are the most prestigious Awards in the industry due to the strict rules that were put in place to establish the Shortlist and subsequent winners.

Today’s event in Las Vegas had 15 categories and rewarded success, achieved by suppliers and operators, across the Americas in the past 12 months.

Companies were shortlisted based on merit. The full Shortlist as well as the reasons for every nomination can be found in the official Global Gaming Awards Shortlist magazine, which is available to read on the Awards’ official website.

The winners were chosen by a panel of 100+ C-level industry executives, including David Lopez, CEO of AGS; Marina Bogard, Managing Director, North America at Betsson Group; Justin Carter, SVP Regional Operations at PENN Entertainment; Mary Cheeks, President & General Manager of Jamul Casino.

The voting process was independently adjudicated by KPMG in the Crown Dependencies to ensure full fairness and transparency.

“After hosting the event virtually in 2020 and at reduced capacity last year due to Covid restrictions still in place, it felt so good to celebrate our industry in a full room with over 500 executives in attendance,” said Julian Perry, Editor-in-Chief of Gambling Insider and Gaming America.

“Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and a very well done to all those who were shortlisted. Today was about celebrating not just the winners but all nominees,” he added.

BetConstruct was the Lead Partner of this year’s event, and category sponsors included IGT, Bragg Gaming, CreedRoomz, Relax Gaming, Velvix, Aristocrat Gaming, Interblock Gaming, Aruze Gaming, Novomatic, Amelco, CasinoTrac, Light & Wonder, EGT and White Hat Studios.

Gambling Insider would like to thank BetConstruct, all category sponsors and the KPMG in the Crown Dependencies team for their support of the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2022.
