By Matthew Nicholson

After an internal assessment and stakeholder mapping exercise, the report shows a push by Caesars to further diversify its staff – with the goal of reaching gender and racial equality in leadership positions by 2025.

The operator highlighted its current position on diversity by saying that women currently hold 46% of mid-level leadership roles and 32% of senior leadership roles.

Furthermore, Caesars also aims to reduce its carbon emissions by 100% by 2050, which involves reducing water consumption, diverting waste from landfills and reducing its overall carbon footprint.

Heather Rapp, SVP of Corporate Social Responsibility for Caesars Entertainment, said of the report: "As we continue to work toward and reflect on our goals, the materiality assessment that was conducted this year was extremely helpful for us to engage in insightful conversations and review the importance of CSR-related issues.

“Caesars has created a strong CSR framework that continues to drive our mission of being a better employer, corporate citizen, and diversified gaming leader. This report and this year's objectives are a testament to that progress."

Meanwhile, Caesars also increased its Responsible Gaming program, with 1,600 staff members becoming specially trained Responsible Gaming Chairpersons and Ambassadors.

In other news, Caesars recently revealed it had received a 'top score' in the 2022 Disability Equality Index (DEI).

Tom Reeg, Caesars Entertainment CEO, said: "At Caesars, we are committed to embracing disability inclusion as a key facet of our overall Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy.”
