Blueprint and Light & Wonder agree four-year OpenGaming deal extension
By Gambling Insider

Both parties have reached a “major long-term deal” that will grant Light & Wonder’s operator partners continued access to Blueprint games.

“Our operator partners will be absolutely delighted with this extended partnership,” said Steve Mayes, Digital Partnerships Director at Light & Wonder.

“Such a move also builds on our promise to deliver worlds of new play to customers across the globe.”

Blueprint has developed various titles, including a range of branded slot games based on well-known films and TV shows such as The Goonies, Deal or No Deal and Rick and Morty.

The studio’s non-branded content, meanwhile, includes titles such as Eye of Horus and Fishin’ Frenzy.

Though based in the UK, Blueprint is a member of the German Gauselmann Group and the studio’s content is available in multiple European countries, as well as Canada following its recent Ontario market entry.

Matt Cole, Blueprint’s Managing Director, said: “Light & Wonder has served as a crucial partner of ours for several years, with its OpenGaming platform providing us with extended opportunities to deliver our content to operators and players across multiple markets.

“With this new agreement in place, we are in a strong position to remain at the focal point of the world’s biggest casino brands, with our games proven to provide exceptional engagement rates.”

In other Light & Wonder news, Matt Wilson was named permanent CEO and President earlier this week. Wilson had previously served as Chief Executive in an interim capacity since Barry Cottle’s departure in August.
