NetEnt lands casino deal for PokerStars New Jersey
By David Cook
nt is to supply PokerStars with its casino content when its New Jersey brand launches later this month, the provider has confirmed.

The games will be accessible via desktop and mobile and the news is a development to a partnership that began in May last year when a selection of NetEnt’s portfolio went live with Stars’ casino offering.

Stars will launch in New Jersey on 21 March after its owner Amaya announced in September it had been authorised to offer casino and poker games in the state by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) following an investigation.

NetEnt first launched its games in New Jersey in September when Borgata began using its content after NetEnt received a transactional waiver from the DGE to operate in the state while its licence application to do so was under review.

A similar step will now be taken, as NetEnt plans to apply to the DGE for a transactional waiver to launch operations with Stars in New Jersey.

NetEnt is partnered with all of New Jersey’s real-money i-gaming licensed casinos, including Borgata, Golden Nugget, Tropicana, Caesars Interactive Entertainment and Resorts, which itself is partnered with Amaya, which has allowed Amaya to move into New Jersey.
