Gaming Realms launches its content in Connecticut
By Matthew Nicholson

Initially, five games will be available in the state, with a further four coming in the near future; including Lucky Larry's Lobstermania Slingo, Blackjack X-Change and Gaming Realms’ collaboration with the American Cancer Society – Slingo Gems.

Michael Buckley, Executive Chairman of Gaming Realms, said of the new launch: "The USA is a significant growth market for us, and we are delighted that our content is now live in Connecticut, which is their fourth largest iGaming state.

"We have a number of new operator launches in the pipeline and we expect to continue the expansion of our popular Slingo content on a global basis."

The news comes after DraftKings announced plans to offer a $200 free sign-up betting bonus in Maryland, in celebration of the launch of online sports betting on 1 January 2023.

To be eligible for the offer, customers must download, pre-register and opt-in on the DraftKings app before the launch – while five random customers that sign up early will receive a $100,000 free bet on launch day.

Commenting on the launch, DraftKings said in a statement: “In anticipation of mobile sports betting going live in Maryland, pending licensure and regulatory approvals, residents in the state will have access to legal and regulated opportunities to place bets across various sports including football, basketball, hockey and more.”

DraftKings is offering the same $200 deal in Ohio, which will also see mobile sports betting go live on 1 January 2023.
