Total revenue is up 8% year-on-year, with slot machines making the lion's share – $856.2m. 

Slots also generated the greatest year-on-year rise in revenue, going up by 10%. And multi-denomination machines proved the most popular, accounting for $447m in revenue from slots.  

Table, counter and card games also saw gains made on September 2021, growing 4% with $384m taken in September.  

Blackjack proved the most lucrative game for Nevada’s casinos, generating $86.4m, despite being 6% lower than this time last year. Baccarat was second, making $80m for September. 

It goes without saying, Clark County – home of the Las Vegas Strip – made the biggest contribution to Nevada’s gaming revenue, generating $1.06bn of the state’s monthly total.  

Of course, revenue reported for September completes the third quarter of the year, in which Nevada made $3.76bn, a 3% rise year-on-year.  

Table, counter and card games account for $1.22bn in revenue for Q3, while slot machines made $3.75bn, a 2% rise.  

And, when looking at the last 12 months, Nevada’s revenue comes to $14.69bn, 23% higher than the prior year. 

Table, counter and card games made $4.82bn over the past 12 months, up 33% on the last 12 months, while slot machine revenue for the last 12 months is $9.87bn, a 19% rise.  

Elsewhere, revenue from racebooks and sportsbooks continued to make gains in the state for September 2022.  

Racebooks made $2.6m for September, up 5% year-on-year, while gains from sportsbooks were significant, rising 30% year-on-year. Total September revenue from sportsbooks stood at $70.6m.
