Skywind makes "several changes" at Intouch Games, following internal review
By Matthew Nicholson

In a statement sent to Gambling Insider, Skywind confirmed it has undergone a review, stating: “Following the acquisition of Intouch Games earlier this year by Skywind, we have completed a review of the business, which has resulted in several changes being made to improve current working practices and efficiencies which, among others, includes changes to the Customer Service Team.

“The company is very much focused on future growth moving forward and is committed to developing a first-class team and business that delivers the highest levels of quality and performance.”

In 2021, Intouch was fined £3.4m ($4.7m) by the Gambling Commission for social responsibility, money laundering and marketing failures while receiving an official warning from the commission.

In addition, Intouch Games was required to instruct a firm of independent auditors to carry out an audit that ensures full compliance with the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice.

Following that, Intouch was acquired by Skywind back in June 2022 in a bid to "increase its B2C presence in Europe's largest market" – the UK.

Skywind gained access to the brand's "unique games" through the deal and the 500 employees based in the UK, Cyprus, Romania, Vietnam and Taiwan.

Back in September, NetBet Italy partnered with Skywind to bring selections from its games catalogue, with the latter becoming the latest addition to the former’s site.
