By Louis Thompsett

A total of 75 charities received $10,000 each at a reception at the Gold Elvis Piano.

Steve Bonner, President of Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, said: "The Seminole Tribe of Florida and Seminole Hard Rock Tampa take pride in their ongoing support of the Tampa Bay community.

"To that end, as we spotlight National Philanthropy Day, we wanted to honour 75 charities that do critical and important work for many people. But, more importantly, we want to give back to show we are extremely grateful for the magnitude of support from Tampa Bay throughout all of these years."

As part of the celebration, Casino Tampa players who had a Unity Card (the operator’s loyalty card) in a machine at the time of Seminole’s charity announcement each won $50 as a free play bonus.

In its statement, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel reaffirmed its commitment to social causes by citing its mottos: Love All-Serve All, Take Time To Be Kind, Save The Planet, and All Is One.

Some charities Seminole Hard Rock has donated to include: Ugly Men, After School All Stars, American Cancer Society, Jason Ackerman Foundation, Best Buddies Tampa Bay, Bullard Family Foundation, Children’s Cancer Centre and Children’s Dream Fund.

The casino operator Seminole Hard Rock Hotel currently has 45,000 team members across 260 locations worldwide.

Recently, Hard Rock signed a partnership with Sportradar, which will power the operator’s sportsbook.
