Sky Bet lets subscribers vote on price boosts
By Louis Thompsett

Presumably, Sky Bet subscribers receive an option of potential price boosts, and the one with the most votes gets launched as a subscriber-exclusive boost.

Subscribers for Sky Bet on email will be happy they voted on Messi to score from outside the area vs Mexico, as this is exactly what happened on 26 November.

The subscriber exclusive took Messi landing a shot from out of the area from 6/1 to 8/1, increasing the winnings of betting subscribers.

Sky Bet’s decision to let subscribers vote on select price boosts shows the operator is coming up with new ways to drive player engagement; the chances of players betting on a boost they voted for surely raises the chances of them placing a bet.

Recently, Sky Bet sought to bust some popular wagering myths in recognition of Safer Gambling Week 2022.

The Flutter-owned brand unveiled a “mythbusters” programme designed to counter some common gambling misconceptions.

In an email sent to customers, Sky Bet invited people to learn more about wagering and published a breakdown of four betting fallacies.

The first addresses a commonly held belief that “knowing a game well increases your chances of winning.”

Sky Bet conceded that extra knowledge can prove helpful when making a wager but urged bettors to remember that extra knowledge does not guarantee success when betting in any respect.
