Hero Gaming appoints Sarah Stellini as its new CEO
By Louis Thompsett

Stellini’s promotion comes swiftly after she was appointed the company’s Commercial Director in April 2022.

The new CEO has over 13 years of experience in the digital entertainment industry, coming from a background in marketing and acquisitions.

Hero Gaming has hailed Stellini’s “fresh” perspective on the business and trusts she’ll be able to lead the company through the “interesting opportunities” that lie ahead for the supplier.

The news of Stellini’s appointment follows a restructuring of the company, where it sold its Swedish B2C assets.

Since then, the supplier says it has been focusing on its core markets, prompting a reorganisation of its C-level positions which led to Stellini's appointment.

Stellini said: “We regret to see some of our heroes moving on and we’re thankful for their work and contributions to the company’s journey so far.

“However, the re-organisation was a much-needed process for the company to ensure its long-term future and thanks to the hard work of the previous management team, led by Patrick Jonker, the company is now in a better position to react with agility concerning the core markets which it operates in.

“The future of Hero Gaming now lies in its core markets to continue to deliver the best customer experience and innovative products to its customer base.”

Hero Gaming Founder and Chairman Georg Westin added: “I have just as much faith in Hero Gaming as ever and with the great people, technology and brands, we have a thriving future. Sarah has the energy to form the new organisation and she will be a great CEO.”
